How Screen Printing Works
Screen Creation
Each color in the design is separated and transferred to an individual mesh screen coated with light-sensitive emulsion. The screen is exposed and washed out to create a precise stencil, ensuring sharp edges and consistent registration.
Ink Application
Ink is forced through the screen using controlled pressure, depositing a uniform ink layer onto the garment. This process produces high-opacity, color-accurate prints ideal for athletic and team apparel.
Heat Curing for Durability
Printed garments are cured at specific temperatures and dwell times to fully bond the ink to the fabric. Proper curing prevents cracking, peeling, and premature fading.
Digitizing
the Design
Artwork is converted into a stitch file that defines stitch type, direction, density, and sequencing. Proper digitizing ensures clean detail and minimizes thread breaks.
Stitching Process
Automated embroidery machines stitch the design directly into the garment using high-strength thread. This creates a textured, dimensional finish ideal for logos and lettering.
